Diwali for me….
I believe the festival of lights is very happy occasion in and one of the most anticipated events of the year. Nothing can match the intensity of gratification that it brings in ones life. It brings a rejuvenated wave in ones life and people like to spend time with family in malls and markets. This surge of happiness is the main reason why this festival is called as festival of lights where light is symbolic representation of happiness. It also stands for triumph of good over evil.
It’s obvious and natural for us to be attracted towards the light and glow of life. Thats why the brightness of this festival attracts all. You know I feel that the brightness of this festival sometimes is so BRIGHT that it sometimes shadows the gray elements. I think the main aim of this festival is to drive away the grayness and it can be achieved by bringing people into light and taking it to them. But sometimes the intensity of brightness is so strong that people who are habitual of staying in darkness gets frightened by the intensity itself. Acceptance in the correct way is very important. The moral of the story is that darkness should be removed and not the wounded of it.
I also think that to remove darkness the light has to travel to enlighten such wounded. If you look at the irony the universe is dark and the light has to travel through it. Similarly to defeat the wrong, right has to extend it arms because in default condition the universe itself is dark and light propagates through it.
What you believe is nothing for you could be a dream for someone in this world. It’s the way the world acts. What you have may be insufficient for you but for someone it could be his entire life. My elder brother once told me that “LIFE IS UNFAIR”. Its true and everyone sometime or other felt the same. So I think to attain balance we give something to others and take something from them. I mean I know what I have and what I don’t have and it’s applicable to everyone in this world. So why not share what you have with those who don’t have and enjoy vice versa and fill the emptiness within our minds. Asking for big favor is useless and more aligned towards materialistic wants.
So my diwali message to you all is give what you have in excess to others and it’s not restricted to food or clothes. I mean TIME can also do wonders. Looking to it in a different way is that you find time to pray to GOD and ask for his blessing on that very day of festival so why not spend some time with orphan, special and under-privileged children or even your household help and make them feel special then even GOD won’t mind if you prayed a little less to him. Spending a little less on crackers and using that money to buy some clothes and chocolates for children would be much more appreciated by GOD and he would forgive me for praying little less to him. I know a sparkling, smiling face is much brighter than the costliest of firecrackers and that would be the best diwali for me.
Would like to end with
YEH DIN JAHAN ME HAR KAHIN,
BHAR DE ROSHNI KISI KE PYAR KI,
DIL DIL SE JO MILADE, HAR CHEHERA WOH KHILA DE,
RUT LAYE AAJ KHUSHIYON KI.
MERE TUMHARE SAB KE LIYE HAPPY DIWALI,
SARE SITARE USKE LIYE
HAPPY DIWALI.
Do post ur feedback.

Misapprehensions of mind.
No wonder our elders told us that success and failure are two sides of same coin.I absolutely think its very true. The ways you walk in life is so much depends on that coin. I mean your approach for life is so much different if the coin flips in other way rather than your way. If in case of success you barely bother to think the other way around. I don’t want to sound pessimist but if things don't turn out your way then it surely it affects the way you look at things. If People say that hard work is all that is need to achieve success than the weight age of success should be always more than failure. Than how is possible that success and failure are two side of same coin?
I mean I never heard anyone saying “I worked hard for failure…..” showing that it can be rigged.
There is also the saying that “THE GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE”. To be very specific I question the existence of this question. I mean do you really feel that he grass is green on the other side. How much more green is it? Now contradicting this age old phrase is THERE IS NO GRAY IN LIFE EITHER ITS BLACK OR WHITE. If the grass is greener on the other side than the second phrase is a piece of joke.
Just a small skip in rotation of that COIN causes your life becoming as miserable as a hole. Mostly in touch and go cases where the difference between success and failure is very close.
No wonder people go in depression in such cases. The best trick or the line used to cover up it is WHATEVER HAPPENS….HAPPENS FOR GOOD. You might think that I am sounding pessimist but its totally false statement and I totally don’t agree with it.
It’s an open challenge to you all honestly tell me that do you agree with this statement. Because I have many reasons to prove it wrong. Did World War II happen for good?
Invention of steroids, nuclear bomb, was Indira Gandhi killed for good? Did raavan kidnapped sita for good?
I think its like a curtain that is used to cover the mind and create a misconception. To create an illusion that others have succeeded where you have not and its not much difference in handwork or effort just the COIN mentioned above. I think mind of a human can be influenced and can be programmed and reprogrammed very easily and it's this characteristic that results in people saying that “the grass is greener on the other side” and “whatever happens….happens for good”. It just tries to find the least resistive path like current in a network having various resistive paths unless it is faced by one-way path. Then and only then the true strengths of human mind can be understood. These phrases are like sub-programmes which the mind uses where it isn't able to relate itself to practical situation and provide relevant solution. If you relevantly think all the three phrases contradict each others meaning. Like I said these are sub programs. I believe there are no significant meanings of these phrases. Its better not to use them more often….
Depths of depression are very deep and these phrases doesn't provide rationalization to it or help in any way from getting out of it.

A THINK ABOUT RELATIONS
And it’s considered liberal too. But your view about some one is usually what your image is in that persons mind.
Telling someone truth about how you feel is very dilemmatic situation in life. It’s like a sea you find it easy to see from the shore but fear going into it. It’s a very tricky question I must say because many people fail to give a direct answer to such a question. If you ask this you will find most common answer that it depends on person to person and situation. It’s a very diplomatic answer suggesting that even they never thought of it or still not prepared to answer it. If they are true than they are justifying the fact that a girl has the right to slap a boy in pub coz he is drunk and it’s considered wrong the other way around. I mean the way you react to a certain situation varies from person to person and the ethical adorations of values are not applicable in such case or what?
I know that people say that bonding and attachment are the wheels on which the world goes but if you look at current situation even you would agree that is material centric world and people have become more materialistic today than they were few years back and the space for feeling r gradually reducing amongst our life.
Whenever you present your self to anyone they tend to make an opinion about you. Not to blame anyone but it’s the process governed by the Subconscious mind. Somehow people tend to establish a pre-notation about you and start expecting wrong thing from you. E.g. - your conservative nature is presumed to be your ego. Just for example. So if people say it varies from person to person how can be one so sure how to react to such a situation.
I know even you believe its materialistic world where people have become emotionally so weak that they ultimately live in illusion and have become addicted to various so called “sansarik pralobhann”. They do not want to face the reality because WANTS have overpowered NEEDS. No matter how hard you try to be yourself ultimately the WANTS make you a person that you are not and people marks you by what you want. Similar are other people too. There exist no feeling or bonding in today’s world. If you find someone how can fulfill your WANTS then you interact. But many times it happens that accepting or denying such thing usually creates misunderstandings and raises a big question mark on ones ability to function as an effective human being.
Latest example is about model VIVEKA BABAJEE who committed suicide and wrote in note in her diary that “why can’t you give me a small place in your life?” .
This can be clearly understood from the phrase that
“FIRST IMPRESSION IS LAST IMPRESSION”
If I interpreted it correctly the phrase supports the fact that everyone makes an opinion about you in your first impression and due to default characteristic of human being set a certain sets of expectation from you and till the end those things define you. My pre-notation about you will every time influence my decision about you.
So if I think that some XYZ is egoistic but he/she is not in actual then this phrase it utter nonsense.
So if we stop beating around the bush the core fact is that today’s world is too busy to hear so called “DIL KI BAAT AND JAZBAAT”. Everyone looks for there profit in someway or the other and some where down the line we are losing our identity as human because emotions are the only thing that separates us from machines and robots. The castle of success is built on graves of emotions.
The matter of fact is that in the process of making robots like human we the humans are becoming robots indeed. Life is about fighting, enjoying the victory and learning from defeats but never giving up it’s the ultimate gift by nature so respect it ….
In fond memory of VIVEKA BABAJEE, KULJIT RANDHAWA, NAFISA JOSEPH, NATASHA PARDARI and the beautiful diva PARVEEN BABI.
GOD BLESS THERE SOULS……
plz pay your tributes to there departed soul. May they findwhat they didnt n this world.

Mr. /Ms YOU! Missing in action.
hum jo chal ne lage ....chalne lage hai yeh raaste...
manzil se bhehetar lagne lage hai yeh raste..
aao kho jaye hum ho jaye hum yun lapata
ha ha milo chale jana kahan na ho pata....
You all must be very aware with this song
the song shows journey of two unknown people from some place to other place going along there way and enjoying it.
There is a saying that
“LIFE IS NOT SPECIAL... SIMPLE THINGS MAKE IT SPECIAL".
People like you and me are very simple at least I think that I am simple in life and there is not much special about me as a personality wise. But I believe that my personality in not my own personality but it’s the impression and reflection of all the people that I met in my life till now. I think it’s the same with you guys as well. The people who shape your personality are mostly friends n family. It like a stone lying on the river bed. When it’s thrown in the river it’s out of shape and its shape can’t be defined but it gets it shape by the flowing water of the river. Friends we are just like that stone.
Just like the words of song
When we meet we where all unknown having one aim in life to complete engineering… thoda darr ke… thoda anjaan ban ke….but we were not alone we had many kids under same circumstances. Situations were tough but after some time we were so habitual that we enjoyed more of the present and thought less of the future. Eventually we felt that this should never end and this life should stay forever with those every close friends who supported us in our good and bad times. We were so lost in each other that we forgot the ultimate truth the one day we would be separated.
That day we would miss a whole lot of things …..
I’ll miss sitting on the steps near W-22, the wind flowing on G-floor, the “mehefil” on the E Floor sq, the way other students looked at us when we sat in F-06 like visitors see animals in zoo. F floor ki gallery se CS ki ladkiyo ko taapna, F-23 where we were king and free to do what we wanted, Maggie party, standing outside the class room and signaling our roll number inside taki koi proxy laga sake, throwing paper-planes in class. Creating havoc in canteen shouting our dept name on top of our voices, kisi khubsurat ladki se bat karne ke liye dosto se “JUGAD” karna and to consult to friends before talking to her, late night studies and mostly baki gaon walo ki halat pata karna exam se ek raat phele and exam ke bad milkar university ko kosna n hugging friends like it’s the end of world.
I am gonna miss all of this real badly. But the most important thing that I am going to miss is… MYSELF IN ACTION! Not only myself, am going to miss all my friends in action doing all those things because I would have been incomplete without them.
This is the dilemma of such special moments- the less you have it, the more you want it and the more you have it the harder it gets to part from them.
I believe there is a huge difference between travelling and journey.
Travelling is when you sole aim is to go from one point to other. Journey is when while going from one phase of life to other whilst enjoying all the moment that come along it this phase that we are having is a that journey which we might not value now but once it over and when you try to look back on it trying to relive it you will find it like a TRAFFIC. So desperately wanting to live it again but failing to do so. I am not trying to scare anybody but someone said to me ki “ dosto ke sath 3 saal kaise nikal gaye pata bhi nahi chala!!” and one said “abhi se senti mat karo yaar …1 saal baki hai.” this shows the state of mind fearing that one day this would happen and its inevitable.
What I would say that enjoy so much that you should have no regret that you missed anything or you limited yourself. Some wise man said that” UNLESS YOU DO IT YOU WONT NOW IT” because at the end of it all it would be Mr. /Ms YOU! MISSING IN ACTION.
Dedicated to all those how made my simple life into a special journey.
Please leave a comment on your experiences and things that you'll remember...

I gazed in her eyes.
It’s been almost three years since we knew each other and today the day came when it was time for us to get parted. we used to meet not very often but may be 3-4 times a month for not more than 5mins since both were busy but Still I assumed that we were good friends. It all started by trying to make new friends and gelling in new group since I was new.
I noticed that she as a girl apart from rest of the group very bubbly funny and more than that curious. She had eyes like sun rising from the horizon (the best way I can describe them) and even pretty smile .it was immediately my minds reaction that” we could be friends". There was something in her eyes that fascinated me...
I was praying that at least she notice me and she did after a few days only during a palm reading session by one of my friend. Eventually I started talking to her knowing that she was very curious and bubbly. When we were first talking "I GAZED IN HER EYES" and for a moment lost my concentration. It happened suddenly and more than one time. There was this moment where I almost lost the track of the conversation outside E-18. Again there was this moment when I almost caught her starring at me from the far end of the classroom where we were practicing our dance.
We eventually became good friends knowing that she trusted me. But here was something hat kept boggling my mind all those days and stopped me from giving her the RED ROSE that I had bought for her and eventually it landed in that friend’s pocket to who I dropped home that day. Perhaps the fear of rejection or unknown nature of girls I think. I knew almost everything about her and told a lot about myself.
I remember the day when we were sitting in an ice-cream parlor eating ice-cream and I was TRYING to make a tattoo on her wrist (coz it was very sweaty) while doing that "I GAZED IN HER EYES"(accidentally) and I could feel her mind (shayad mera vehem ho!!) trying to say something to me which I don’t know I understood correctly or not. But it said something. It felt like infinity and same thing happened at the time of Christmas. Again trying to say something and I knowing it ignored and thought on it for days to come. The naughtiness and simplicity in eyes occupied my mind.
Then the day came when it was time for us to get parted. We had talked a lot and all were having dinner. Knowing what would happen I avoided making eye contact with her. If did not for more than 3sec. and I was caught she asked "tere mood kyu kharab hai?" I nodded no and said nothing. She said "2nd year me kitna maza aya tha dance practise me" I said "ha". But eventually “I GAZED IN HER EYES". And again felt the same thing. They were sad and again I lost track of conversation and was numbed for sometime. I think I read the mind and thoughts were exchange without speaking. She was afraid to loss a very friends and fear of future and wanted that thing should never change. Coincidently those were my thoughts as well and I think she knew it. I felt that she wanted to here something from me or keep talking to me just like I wanted. I think even she knew it.
i think we communicated a lot and we met hardly in three years perhaps because we had same fears in mind. I remember her saying "MUJHE BHULNA MAT!!” again my thoughts her words and I replied “DEFINATLY NAHI BHULUGA!!". I don't know weather she felt the same way or had the same thoughts like me but YES but i felt the same way every time I met her and "I GAZED IN HER EYES".
Baatein dilo ki, dekho jo baaki, aankhein tujhe samjhaye...
tu jaane naa....

i wanna be a santa claus
On this festive occasion I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one out there a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. I not only pray to god that on this holy and blessed occasion may all your wishes come true but also pray that you may become the source of others happiness as well.
While coming home from college today I wild thought came into my mind that I wish I could be Santa Claus. I mean what could be more interesting job than this. Just imagine the situation children all over the world desperately wait for Christmas prepared with there socks over the chimney, family together bring up and decorating the Christmas tree and list of things the kids would ask as a gift to me. On the other hand I Santa would maintain the record of all the good things that people had done to others throughout the year. It’s kind of a back office job that would enjoy doing without any regrets. But the most exciting part would be the night before Christmas when all the children would wait for my arrival and by leaving cookies and milk for me. I would happily give them free gifts for that by crawling through the chimney. even when i wore a santa claus hat and went around my college building and had een many smilling faces which brings out there child dreams and fantacy of santa.
Being a part and cause of someone’s happiness is the biggest gift that I would like to have for this Christmas. Being Santa would be just like that. Coming in dreams of millions of children and being more of a fantasy rather than reality is what any celeb would want also being the cause that brings the smile out of the very innocent form of life is what I would like to sacrifice my 8 month as a record keeper of good things.
But from what I believe SANTA is inside each one of us. its in me I believe. The true meaning of Christmas is the be the source of happiness for those who don’t have what you have and from my thought no one has everything in life but we can share some part of our happiness with them and invite them to share there’s and try to keep the true spirit of Christmas alive.
In the end I just wanna say that CHRISTMAS IS ALL IS ABOUT GIVING. It could be anything happiness, joy, food, cloths or even a HUG.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL.

"THE UNKNOWN SHAHID"
SHAHID a proud entitle given to a solider that sheds his blood for the country.
The dead body of a solider brought in a coffin covered with the all important and most honored tricolor speaks a lot about the word. The word is very symbolic and very rarely people know the true meaning of such a word. From what I have interpreted the world barely know the true meaning of this word. The word simply doesn’t mean that a person died protecting his country, his fellow comrades and to protect his nation which a he takes his personal responsibility. But for me the word means that a person has died for an ultimate goal too good and greater than what you and I as a normal citizen of this country could rarely imagine in your wildest dream.
But in the recent past we have seen that time and time again we have committed the same mistake and we are so proud about it. Most of the people will say that the attack on the economic capital of INDIA i.e. MUMBAI was considered as the most horrific and devastating blow of terrorism in India. No doubt it is but the response it got from the entire nation and the world at large was all a total responsibility of the media.
The coverage and TRP it got was even grater than the 1st session of IPL, INDO-PAK match or CRICKET world cup. The proud reporters and media personal job is not hidden from us.
Eventually what happened was witnessed by the entire nation. When the dust settled the entire episode was on every news channel for more than 3weeks.
But we tend to forget the people, soldiers and police officer that died in other such incident that occurred in various parts of our country. The Akshardham attack, Delhi serial blast, parliament attack are such example. Even now many people and soldiers of Indian army along with the security forces deployed in the J&K are dying each and every day. all that a major or a captain gets a 40 sec air time on one such channel and of he goes never to be seen again ever and by natural tendency of the human we forget about those many 100s of brave heart Indian soldiers’ and officers who died for a cause for which the Indian constitution and the very basis of the formation of our proud nation is based.
As far as I know the parents and the people who take the initiative to join the defense forces don’t need a tricolor on there coffin or a promise of petrol pump or the short term of publicity on news channel and papers. What they actually want is the respect which comes with "SHAHID". Young men and women join the defense forces and they join it with some dignity and what there passed souls would want is that they be treated with dignity and honor even when they are dead. What we witnessed fro the father of martyr NSG commando Maj. Sandeep Unnikrishnan's was the same. You can imagine a father who has so much of self esteem and self respect how much that would that affected his son grooming fro a kid to a Major. May be his actions were not right but the message was clear.
I believe we have reacted so much to such and incident such as 26-11 for all the more basic reasons that it involved many high profile people. Rich people who are so much indulge I there celebrity lifestyle that they don’t even care to look in to the papers more the Page 3 of that paper. Weather to see there photo in it or to here all the stupid gossips which has none of it to do with them. I remember one such incident when we saw Preity Zinta a prominent name in film industry taking out a candle light procession to the Taj hotels. I believe she would never know about the counter insurgency ops and about the soldiers killed there.
Dear miss Preeti Zinta do you know about Major J.S.Suri of 13 Rashtriya Rifles or about trooper Mohammed Suri or DIG S.K. Chakravarty of BSF & the many other officer who became a "SHAHID". And being a responsible Indian I have the right to ask what has happened about all those people and also all those who died in akshardham attack and Indian parliament attack. What has happen to kamlesh kumari of CRPF? I also believe that its just a matter of time when we will forget sub inspector Tukaram omble , Hemant Karkare(ATS chief) , Addl. Comm. Ashok Kamte , Sr inspector Vijay Salaskar and Shashank Shinde, Hawaldar Gajendra Singh(NSG COMM) just like all the other brave heart officers how gave the ultimate sacrifice for our proud mother land. Why is that we have forgotten what had happened before 26-11. Why has media forgotten about them? I believe that just because this was a attack on the high profile society and five star hotels such a exaggerating response was seen. i think all those who have laid there before 26-11 and those who where "SHAHID" in 26-11 it would be an insult to there memories and there dedication towards there honor and pride. I feel the effects of 26-11 should not over power others wounds terrorism has given to our country.
Most ironic, funny and embarrassing part of this event is that they did this for those people who say on TV channel that “its time to bring the change” and “enough is enough”. But when they get a chance to be the part of the change they prefer going on holiday with family and the voter turnout was very less and holiday was preferred over voting because it was a PAID HOLIDAY.
A place affected 365 days by naxal menace had 2-3 times more turnout than so called EDUCATED AND LIBERAL society
SHAHID is a very heavy and very dignified word. if we are giving this honor to a certain person his/her parents and there memories should not be mad a subject of public amusement and the respect and dignity which goes with this word should be maintained under all circumstances.
.
I believe that it’s high time now and we should stop utilizing "SHAHID" for our personal and pity needs.
GOD BLESS THE SOULS OF ALL THOSE SHAHID (KNOWN AND UNKNOWN)
